Frequently Asked Questions

What is WiE?

Women in Engineering (WiE) is a program offered through The Ohio State University's College of Engineering. Our program supports K-12 outreach, recruitment and retention of female engineering students at The Ohio State University.

How do I join WiE?

As a female student studying engineering at The Ohio State University you are automatically a part of the WiE program. We are primarily a student support office, similar to the Engineering Career Services office. We serve all female students in the college (Undergraduate & Graduate). In addition to our programs, there are several registered student organizations which support female students. Of particular note, we work closely with the Ohio State section of the Society of Women Engineers (SWE) and Beta Chapter of Phi Sigma Rho, a national social sorority for women in engineering.
